A Practice shaped by curiosity, presence and lifelong learning.

I first discovered yoga in my early twenties while travelling through India. What began as a personal search gradually became a lifelong practice, one that has continued to evolve alongside every season of my life.

After completing my teacher training in Rishikesh, I began sharing yoga from a strong foundation in alignment and intelligent movement. Over time, my teaching has expanded beyond the physical practice, influenced by Yin Yoga, functional movement, meditation and, more recently, menstruality and cyclical living.

Today, I see yoga not as something to master, but as a relationship, one that deepens as we learn to listen more closely to ourselves.

The birth of my two children transformed both my practice and my teaching. It taught me that strength isn't always about effort, and that some of our deepest growth comes through surrender, patience and learning to trust the wisdom of the body.

Whether I'm teaching a dynamic Vinyasa class, a nourishing Yin practice or supporting future teachers through The Yin Path and The Cyclical Practice, my intention remains the same: to create a space where you can feel safe to explore, supported to grow and encouraged to practise in a way that honours where you are.

Outside the studio, you'll usually find me with my two children, exploring nature or continuing to study the many ways yoga can support us through every season of life.

Absolutely love Alessia’s classes. I always feel so calm, relaxed and grounded. Each week I look forward to something new that is a mixture of simple and tough. Alessia has taught me the importance of mindfulness and creating awareness of the body not only in practise, but in everyday. Highly recommend her classes.”— Ellen
Alessia’s classes are always different and exciting but still balanced with traditional asana. She provides an opportunity to expand our practice by just allowing us to try advanced poses with encouragement. We have a few laughs but work hard and that’s what makes it fun.”— Tam
What a great handstand workshop. Enormous fun and quite the workout.”— Malcolm
I loved Alessia’s handstand workshop! It really helped me to understand the basics of handstand and how to overcome the fear to be upside down. Alessia is amazing, she is very patient and knowledgeable.”— Jenny
